A simple but sturdy design, the Marietta Shelf Supports offer a more delicate look for brackets without sacrificing strength or durability. Perfect for bathroom, entryway or pantry shelves, these brackets will complete your living space and appeal to any style house. They are 2 inches wide and feature a 2 inch wide slightly curved support bar. These brackets come with a standard 4 inch lip—upon request, we can customize the lip to suit your specific needs.

DESCRIPTION OF TYPES:
Raw Uncoated:
Reveals the steel’s natural luster, unprotected from rust. Recommended for those seeking a weathered, rusted finish or for those who plan to paint/coat the bracket themselves.
Powder Coat:
Creates a smooth, sealed finish in the desired color and offers extra rust protection. Recommended for use in potentially wet spaces such as a bathroom or outside.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not provide the Matte Clear Coat Finish on all of our products.
Finish colors can vary slight based on lighting and the screen you are viewing the colors (images) on our website.

Instructions on How To Hang A Heavy Shelf
- Choose the right location: Find a stud in the wall where you want to hang the shelf using a stud finder and mark its position with a pencil. Make sure the location is level and centered where you want it.
- Gather materials: You will need a heavy-duty shelf bracket or cleat, screws, drill, level, and measuring tape.
- Install the bracket or cleat: Use screws to attach the bracket or cleat to the wall at the stud location. Make sure it is level and securely attached.
- Attach the shelf: Place the shelf on top of the bracket or cleat, making sure it is level. Use screws to attach the shelf to the bracket or cleat from the bottom.
- Test the stability: Gently push and pull on the shelf to make sure it is securely attached and can hold the weight you plan to put on it.
Note: If you are unsure about your ability to install the shelf safely, hiring a professional or seeking guidance from a hardware store may be best.

The materials you will need to hang a heavy shelf include:
- Heavy-duty shelf bracket or cleat
- Screws or Hex Head Lag bolts (Wrench/Socket Set) depending on the weight of the shelf.
- Drill
- Measuring tape
- Pencil
- Stud finder (optional)
- Level
Optional materials that may be helpful include anchors and a hammer.

Since we never know what material our clients are mounting our products on, we would hate to send out the wrong screw type/length needed.
We are happy to give you suggestions. However, we always recommend consulting a professional installer if you need help with how to mount them or if they are installed correctly. -

All standard weight items will be processed within 7 - 10 days.
Shipping times will depend on the UPS shipping carrier - with expected delivery 3 - 4 days depending carrier from the date your order was placed. All shipping will be via ground.
